These past five days have been plagued with technical difficulties. Glitchy websites, my business email suddenly stopped working, endless calls with well meaning tech people, blacklisted IP addresses, hours upon hours (more than 25 over the last five days) trying to figure these issues out and resolve them, with, alas, no resolution in sight. Just so you know, this is not going to be a woe-is-me, litany of problems post. Because, honestly, what I’ve been experiencing is just one of those annoying and frustrating moments in life, and when everything gets resolved, and it eventually will, it will be a non-event.
Which isn’t to say I’ve been handling all of this well. I haven’t. But in an attempt to bring some sanity and a tiny bit of joy back into my life, I went out this morning for a long bicycle ride along the Hudson River. Can we all just marvel at the beauty of the trees turning color now that temperatures have dropped a little?

It was beautiful. Along the way I made sure to stop and take photographs and videos of the ride. I rode down to the very tip of Manhattan – Battery Park. If you’d like to come with me, here’s the YouTube video I made of this morning’s ride.

Now I’m back home, determined to not let these minor road blocks, which can feel like major horrors, invade all aspects of my life. I will get some stitching done before the Internet guy shows up and hope for the best!
Here’s to finding joy even when life feels frustrating.
I’ve been wondering why you’ve been so quiet I thought it was your migraine. But what a headache this has been on top of it all. I hope all is finally resolved now.

I am in IT and certainly know the uncertainties and frustration that glitches cause. It was definitely an inspiration when you started taking us with you on your walks in your city. Thank you so much. It gets us out and about too! Happy Stitching!

I cycled with you all the way to the statue of Verrazano and enjoyed the tour with your comments especially. And the views! Fabulous! Thank you for taking me on this ride to the tip of Manhattan! And I don’t feel the least bit tired. 🙂 ❤️ Mom
